The writer points out that this is only the second flip of Congress in a generation, and only the second time since 1954 that the House has switched parties. Also, 6 seats in the Senate is a pretty big pick-u for the D side. There's also some pretty good analysis of why the Ds will push to get their economic agenda passed, and what kinds of contradicitons are out there for the Rs to deal with.
