Ever drive behind or near a commercial or passenger vehicle belching smoke and fumes like there's no tomorrow, no living things that like to breathe, and no such thing as public manners? Ever wish you could do something easy and free (and anonymous, even) to change it? Well, you can!

Take down the following information: 

1 - License plate


2 – Time

3 – Location

Including the make and model of the vehicle is also helpful. You can even give descriptions (color of smoke, how big a cloud, whether smoke is continuous or just during acceleration). 

Then call:

1-888-END-SMOG 

OR

When you get home,  log onto the Iowa Department of Natural Resources Smoking Vehicles page and follow instructions.
