Drinking Liberally is Now Statewide; JC Dems to Sponsor in IC

By Nick Bergin

The Iowa City chapter of Drinking Liberally is excited to announce the Johnson County Democrats will be co-hosting Drinking Liberally the second Thursday of every month.  The I.C. Chapter of Drinking Liberally  meets this Thursday and every Thursday at the Mill Restaurant, 120 E. Burlington St. Iowa City at 8pm.

Raise your spirits while you raise your glass, and share ideas while you share a pitcher.  Drinking Liberally is an informal progressive social group, which gives left-leaning individuals a place to share ideas and discuss politics.

Drinking Liberally has 150 Chapter nation wide including chapters in Ames, Des Moines, Iowa City, and the Quad-Cities.  Check out the national website at www.drinkingliberally.org.

Join us as we strive to make democracy a little more fun.  America was born in the taverns... and now we're returning to promote democracy one pint a time.

The Revolution begins at 8pm.
