IFU Radio
By the IFU Good news for progressive ag advocates! Iowa Farmers Union has been invited to provide a weekly two to three-minute commentary on agricultural issues for KTIC-AM radio out of West Point, NE. This station covers western Iowa to Des Moines. The weekly spot (as yet unnamed--ideas, anyone?) debuted Wednesday, Jan. 2 with a piece by former IFU president Gary Lamb urging Iowans to caucus tonight for the candidate of their choice. The commentary will run each week at around 3:20 p.m. on Wednesdays. Unfortunately the station is not available on the web yet, but those of you within range, please tune in! Also, if you have topic ideas or would like to try your hand (and voice) at recording a commentary, contact me at the number below.
