Action Alert From Senator Rob Hogg

email inboxfrom State Senator Rob Hogg, (D-CR)

You may have seen it in the news before Christmas: Governor Branstad is considering a $30 million cut to mental health services in Iowa. A Des Moines Register article had the story.

This is something the Governor will be deciding soon – and it is something he needs to hear about.

He should not cut mental health services. Instead, we should be expanding mental health outreach, services, and treatment, in schools and in our communities, so that all Iowans can get help when they need help.  It is important for individuals, families, and community safety.

Please write or call Governor Branstad—and ask your friends, family, and colleagues across the state to write or call. Here is his contact information:

Des Moines, IA 50319
