Tell Steve King To Get Back To Work

mowrer for congressA note from Jim Lowrer, Democratic challenger in Iowa’s 4th District. Visit the campaign website at Mowrerforiowa.com

Friends,

On September 30th, if Congress doesn’t act, the Farm Bill will expire. This will have drastic effects for our farmers. All across the country, farmers rely on subsidies in this bill to support their livelihoods.

Instead of working hard in Washington to get this bill passed before it expires, Steve King has been headlining events in New Hampshire, South Carolina and Virginia – all important presidential primary states.

We need a representative in Congress that will work towards the interests of his constituents  – especially when the Farm Bill means long-term stability for so many of our families. Add your name to our online petition and tell Steve King to get back to work and focus on serving Iowa.

As your Congressman, I will also make sure to put the people of Iowa’s 4th district as my first priority. Making sure we pass a comprehensive Farm Bill is important to families like mine – who farm the land to make ends meet.

Steve King is not looking out for our best interests. We deserve better. Stand with me and tell Steve King to get back to work for the people of Iowa’s 4th district.

Thanks,

Jim
